At Marmalade Tart Boutique we put customer service above all else to ensure customer satisfaction. Therefore, we accept returns and exchanges providing the following is adhered to.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer International exchanges or returns at this time, as the shipping and related charges often work out to be more than the cost of the item itself.
All returns/exchanges must be authorized prior to shipping back to us. You are required to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (778) 426-3356 during business hours for shipping instructions.
Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.
Exchanges and Returns
In-store. We allow exchange or store credit within 7 days of purchase in our Sidney, BC store on regular priced items. We do not offer exchanges or store credits on sale items, dresses, intimate apparel, scarves and/or jewellery.
Online – Canada and the USA – We allow exchanges and returns if you have purchased a full priced item online. We do not offer exchanges or returns on sale items. If you have ordered online and would like an exchange or refund, you must let us know within 72 hours of receiving the package; either via email to email@example.com or call (778) 426-3356. We will then send you return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
You are responsible for the cost of returning goods. Packages that are sent COD or without a Return Authorization number will not be accepted.
Purchases that are free from damage need to be delivered back to us in original condition and packaging. The item being returned must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and with all original tags attached.
We must be able to sell the item so please be careful when trying on regarding perfume, makeup and deodorant rubbing off on the garment. Please also use care when handling delicate fabric and zippers.
It is the customers’ responsibility to ship the order back in a safe manner. Marmalade Tart Boutique reserves the right to refuse any refunds or exchanges if the product is not in original condition.
Any additional shipping charges incurred when shipping out an exchange will be charged to your credit card and shipped according to your preferred shipping method.

All products are shipped from our store in Sidney, BC using Canada Post, usually the next business day after your order is received.
If you have any special shipping instructions please use the “Comments” section of the Checkout form or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (778) 426-3356 or toll free at 1 (855) 736-2981 after placing your order and we can do our best to meet your special request. Please allow additional time if you have made a special request.
The billing address must match the address associated with the card used for payment. You may specify a different shipping address.
Shipping charges are non refundable.
Delivery times are only averages, there can be additional delays if the package is crossing a border, or delivery falls on a holiday.
We ship with Canada Post as we find this option to be the least costly. Canada Post will pass the package on to your country’s postal service. When a package crosses a border, we have no control over any processing fees; duties or taxes charged by your government and are not responsible for any of these costs. All shipments have tracking number, which will be provided when shipping is confirmed.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Marmalade Tart Boutique are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for such items is passed to you upon our delivery to the carrier, i.e. Canada Post. All packages come with up to $100 insurance and Canada Post always does their best to locate any lost shipments, facilitated by the tracking number provided for each shipment.
