Our primary commitment is that we will never release any of your personal information to outside parties except for the purpose of filling orders and sending you emails if you have subscribed, unless required by law.

We collect personal information in three ways – on our website to allow us to communicate with you and fill your order; in the shop to help us serve you better; and in the shop or on the website so we can send you emails, if you subscribe.

On our website you can order products and/or make inquiries. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, if you order a gift online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are:

The Way We Use Information:

Regardless of what purpose personal information is collected for, we do not use the information except for the purpose it was collected.

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. We do not collect, store or retain your credit/debit card information. When you use the website to make a purchase, you provide that information directly to one of our payments partners, and we do not have any access to or a record of your card number. This is also the case for credit and debit card transactions made using the point of sale terminal in the shop. 

We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use information you provide in the shop to keep track of what you have purchased to help with future transactions and to facilitate returns. We do not share this information with outside parties.

We will only add you to our email list if you have asked us to do so and then we will use your email address to send you our emails. We do share your email address with Constant Contact, which provides us with subscriber email services and which has a strong commitment to the protection of privacy and personal information (Click here for the Constant Contact Email Privacy Policy). When you subscribe to our newsletters, you will receive information on new styles and upcoming promotions. You may choose to stop receiving our emails at any time by selecting the “Unsubscribe” link that appears on every email and you will no longer receive our emails. We do not share email addresses with any other outside parties.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information:

You can request us to correct all your personal information that we have by phoning (778) 426-3356 or emailing staff@marmaladetart.com. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making corrections.
